The first person I saw was Jane, wow I was so happy I couldn’t hide my feeling; smiles all over my face, so curious I asked Edwards how he got to know Jane, I don’t know her he said, but I think she’s a sister to one of my friends don’t worry just keep calm and catch fun. I smiled all the way to where Jane was seated and I didn’t get the responses I expected after a very long time I was expecting her to be happy too, at least it has been a while we saw each other,

 “hey Jane how are you” I said she replied with a very low tone “I’m fine” then I sensed something was really not right, the Jane I know is a very jovial girl always talking loud with her very nice baritone voice, we got talking and she told me,

 “ her dad lost his job about two years ago and things had not been really easy since then, he managed to gather all of his savings to try to start a business he hoped would help sustain the family, unfortunately that night they were robbed and all the money her dad had gathered everything was taken away and her dad was beaten so bad and when they took him to the hospital, the doctor diagnosed some sort of virus and advised that he should be operated on as soon s possible they needed the sum of (2.5milion) for this operation. Her mum was just a primary school teacher, and there was no possibility of her raising that kind of money anytime soon, then she begged me not to be angry that her phone was stolen that night and she had to stay with her dad, so she couldn’t make up for school”.

I told her not to worry that I would tell my mum and hopefully she can do something about it, she just laughed and called me a naughty boy she never knew I was serious, she knows nothing about my background but I was glad to see her smile again, I called my mum and explained something’s to her and I told her to get me a new phone before I got home and mum said no problem I was super happy, then pulled out my sim card and I gave the phone to Jane, she couldn’t believe she was so happy and I was happy too collected her home address and the location of the hospital where her dad was admitted and we joined others and did catch fun it turned out to be one of my best days in as many years as I can remember.

When I got home mum already got me a new Samsung galaxy (s8) it was just an upgrade of the (s7) I was using before, I told her all that happened why I gave Jane my phone and how her family are in financial hardship at the moment, and how I enjoyed my day with Edwards, she was happy for me too and she said her normal language “my boy I’m always proud of you” she promised to give Jane’s family the sum of (5 million) 2.5 for the operation and the other half for the upkeep of the family.

Who are those in your circle? What type of friends do you keep?  There's a saying that goes thus "the average of 5 people you walk with sums up your life" we could agree to disagree on this, your choice! but it still remains true. Interestingly sometimes you have a little setback or challenge and you are scared to share with your friends!! does that even make sense?  You be thinking in your head, If I tell them they will laugh and make jest of me  and they will not even take it serious no matter what.  What kind of a circle is that? Friends who can't relate with your situation, who can't understand and sympathize with you in whatever situation you are in, they are not friends at all, they don't merit that title.   You need to redefine what friendship is.
