Is there really anything called freedom? Are we ever truly free?
First of all what is freedom?  According to the English dictionary, freedom is
(uncountable) The state of being free, of not being imprisoned or enslaved.
(countable) The lack of a specific constraint, or of constraints in general; a state of being free, unconstrained.




Taking the literal meaning of those words enslave or being imprisoned out of the context, you will discover that one way or the other we are engaged with one thing or the other, it could be religion, it could be material things, but one thing or the other gets us which in turn takes away the word freedom from us. 


For a practical example, look at a marriage setting, once you have that seal or stamp (ring) on you  whether you like it or not, one aspect of you has lost it's freedom, you maybe free to do something's but there are also constraints, maybe at the time when you were still single you could be free to get home late like 10:00pm and there's nothing or no one to challenge you,  but once you get entangled in marriage, getting home a minute past 8:00p you'd have quarry to answer, literally you are grown up you a man of yourself or a woman of your own, but you dare not do something's. 
You maybe thinking to yourself, thank God I'm not married so I'm not obligated to anyone so I'm free, but look deep down within are you free? All the things you are doing?  Are they really what you want to do? Or you're doing them because morally they are what you're supposed to do I am so sure that many of us 80% of the things we do and not actually what we want to do but because we have rules and laws guiding us we are restricted/limited to certain things. so in other words literally we are free but technically we aren't.  


you may be thinking; what is this post driving at but hey I just want to tell you inasmuch as we are not totally free we need to choose our allegiance Wisley. 


In God we have freedom that's all I can say,  but beside that you should choose wisely.  when you want to choose a partner make sure you choose the right one,  because as long as that ring is in your finger you are imprisoned(obligated and constraint by love till be loyal to someone)  whether you like it or no. so it is left to you to choose which kind of prison you are i, is it the one that will bring you comfort?  or the one that will torment you?  are you pursuing your career make sure you pursue the right thin, whatever it is you are pursuing do it right. Because  only then will you be able to say if you are partially free or you are still in bondage. 
You decision determines your freedom level or your bondage status.

Rethink your circle

Who are those in your circle? What type of friends do you keep?  There's a saying that goes thus "the average of 5 people you walk with sums up your life" we could agree to disagree on this, your choice! but it still remains true.
