What is love to you?

What is love to you? What is love suppose to be? How am I suppose to love someone and everyone?
Okay yeah God is love we all know that, and I'm sure we all have our own perspectives and views about replicating Gods love. But let's move aside from the fact that God is love, just as individual that you are, what do you say love is to you?



I understand the fact that individual differences exists, and that of course is one of the main reasons we sometimes do somethings in a not so good way, I don't want to use the word bad due to individual differences(#Wink). And we get away with it and also refuse to take correction,  I can't define what is bad or what is good to you, you know what to do and what not to do.
So first of all what is the  dictionary definition for love?




According to the English dictionary: love is an intense feeling of affection and care towards another person or A deep or abiding liking for something. Or A profound and caring attraction towards someone or something.
With this in mind, when do you say that you love someone?  Love involves sacrifices and beyond that' love does not expect anything in return, so to that somebody you say I love you to, is it a deep sincere affection/liking or is it because you have ulterior motives?  Are you expecting something in return??


Are you in that relationship because of the mutual benefits you stand to get or you are in it because you sincerely love that special someone? You need to seat down count your cost, see if you are willing to sacrifice without expecting anything in return before you say you love someone.
Even God when he sent his only beloved son to come die for us, didn't send him having the certainty in mind that we all will reciprocate the love, he only hopes we would reciprocate this love.


so first you have to convinced that you love someone, before you even think of saying it out loud.  the best you can hope for is that they reciprocate the love, and be ready to deal with it if they aren't willing to reciprocate the love. that is when you really enjoy the true meaning of love.
Like someone once said, to love is to suffer, to be happy is to love, then if you want to be happy you must suffer and that means you should love,
Well with all being said, love yourself and love others too, be ready to sacrifice and not expect anything in return,  then and only then can you enjoy life.

Who are those in your circle? What type of friends do you keep?  There's a saying that goes thus "the average of 5 people you walk with sums up your life" we could agree to disagree on this, your choice! but it still remains true.
