Ryan's loneliness (episode 4)

Monday after school mum came to pick  me at school, she asked Jane to come with us and we went straight to the hospital where Jane’s dad was admitted, mum and I greeted Jane’s parents then mum went to see the doctor, Jane’s mum engaged me in a discussion started asking questions upon question, what is  your name? Where do you come from? How did you get to meet Jane? Who is Jane to you?  As expected I couldn’t say a word all I did was just smile, she paused for a moment and looked at me she said “hello!!! Why are you smiling you didn’t answer any of my questions and yet you are smiling” sorry ma I said smiling, Jane went to her mum and whispered to her ears, what they said I don’t know, she looked at me nod her head and smiled.

She was about to say something when mum came in, wow I was so relieved, she told Jane parents she was sorry she left immediately she greeted them saying she needed to go settle some matters, the doctor came and said mum has paid for the operation and that the operation would be carried out with immediate effect, Jane and her mum busted into tears, I was wondering why they were crying instead of them to be happy, well that didn’t concern me much mine was for her dad to have a successful operation and nothing more, Jane’s mum  kept telling mum thank you, it didn’t mean a thing to me so I was laughing deep down.

Mum asked for Jane’s mum account number and she sent the remaining 2.5million as she promised then we left them at the hospital, mum took me home and zoomed off to the office, I was just reflecting on all that happened in the hospital, from Jane’s mum question to mum settling the bills and even sending them extra money, I was just happy within and I kept smiling.

When mum got home I thanked her for all she did as usual, she patted my head and said “I’m always proud of you son’’ she said “your friends mum called to tell her the operation was successful and that the father would be discharged the next day” I was too happy that night I couldn’t even eat dinner, went straight to my room, I already had like four missed calls from you can guess right JANE, she also sent a sms to show her appreciation called her back and we talked for about 30min before I called it a day.

The next day at school……………………
