Tough Love

"Tough love" I'm sure some of you will disagree with this term,  is there any anything called "tough love" how can love even be tough the Bible says in


1 Corinthians 13:4-7 New International Version (NIV)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.


After considering the above scripture  I'm sure you'll be thinking again then where did I find my term "tough love" but only those  who really love you will sometimes make it look as if they're hard on you in a tough manner but they still love you so extracting the toughness from their attitude and the Show of love from their character merging it together you will see where the term "tough love" came from.

So I was talking with a friend of mine actually a friend turn brother. He knows me a lot.  there was something I loved doing a lot, I had every means of doing them and this thing also make people happy, so is a source of joy for me I'm happy,  others are happy too. 



then all of a sudden I stopped for no particular reason and I can't even point out why I stopped but then after a while Knowing Me; and noticing that I've not been doing this thing made him upset,  then he called my attention why am I not doing this thing anymore?  what's the problem he asked? and I told him "I had a little challenge" so why haven't I tried to sort it out then I was short a words. was a thing  that I can sort out in relatively less than 5 minutes and he scolded me. 


 After that time I went on to rectify this challenge and then I continued what I was doing I became happier and more audience than I was thinking more people than I used to make happy before  became happy as well and so after a while I thought to myself thank God for this brother.
I went back to him after a while, then we got talking and he said to me see; he was happy that I started  doing again  what I was doing before, then I was "like after you scolded me" and he said to me it's "tough love".


 I just smiled enough though I thought again wow it is really true. tough love existed now he scolded me out of love it  looked harsh at the moment but after doing everything I was happy, he was happy,  we made more people happy and then I thought to myself yes" tough love" really exist.


I know that some people in your life seem pretty harsh on you but they really aren't  harsh  they are just trying to express love in another dimension,  putting it in mind but at the time that was the best way they could pass their message, and if you notice it very well times like that the love is really effective, once you take corrections or little adjustment life become easier and you become happier once again "tough love"

Rethink your circle

Who are those in your circle? What type of friends do you keep?  There's a saying that goes thus "the average of 5 people you walk with sums up your life" we could agree to disagree on this, your choice! but it still remains true. Interestingly sometimes you have a little setback or challenge and you are scared to share with your friends!! does that even make sense?  You be thinking in your head, If I tell them they will laugh and make jest of me  and they will not even take it serious no matter what.  What kind of a circle is that?
